Cerolab is a professional dental laboratory based in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile, with more than 20 years of experience serving dentists, rehabilitation specialists, clinics and other dental professionals. Founded in 2005 and directed by Esteban Pastor, Cerolab has developed its business around the combination of specialized dental laboratory craftsmanship, advanced digital dentistry and modern CAD/CAM manufacturing technologies. The laboratory works as a technical partner for rehabilitation professionals, evaluating each case throughout the treatment process with the objective of achieving functional, predictable and natural-looking results. Cerolab provides a broad portfolio of fixed, removable and implant-supported dental prosthetic solutions and combines conventional laboratory techniques with digital workflows to accommodate different clinical requirements. The company accepts physical conventional models as well as digital files, including STL, DICOM and facial-scan data, allowing dental clinics to integrate their existing workflows with Cerolab's digital production system. Its fixed prosthetics division produces individual crowns, fixed bridges, dental veneers and inlays using materials such as monolithic and multilayer zirconia, lithium disilicate, metal-ceramic, feldspathic porcelain, composite and other CAD/CAM materials. The laboratory follows a structured production process covering impression or digital-file reception, diagnostic wax-up and treatment planning, CAD design, milling or sintering, specialized finishing, aesthetic characterization and final quality control. Cerolab also specializes in removable prosthetics, including complete dentures, partial dentures, implant-retained overdentures, characterized prostheses, relaxation splints and precision metal frameworks. Its removable solutions can use acrylic, flexible resins, porcelain or acrylic artificial teeth, cobalt-chromium and titanium frameworks, and CAD/CAM manufacturing according to the requirements of each case. In implant prosthetics, Cerolab provides digitally planned solutions including immediate-load and delayed-load restorations, implant-supported crowns and bridges, milled or sintered titanium and cobalt-chromium bars, customized abutments, overdentures and full-arch rehabilitation such as All-on-4 and All-on-6. The laboratory supports multiple implant systems and uses digital planning based on DICOM files, intraoral scans and facial scans, together with conventional or digitally designed surgical guides. Its digital dentistry workflow is one of the company's key strengths: Cerolab receives STL files from virtually any major intraoral scanner and supports systems such as Shining 3D, Medit, iTero, 3Shape and CEREC. Digital cases can be analyzed, designed and manufactured using specialized CAD software including exocad DentalCAD and 3Shape Dental Designer, while its CAM production environment includes equipment from Arum, Amann Girrbach, Yenadent, Roland and CEREC. The laboratory also operates 3D printing equipment from SprintRay, Asiga and Photopol for models, surgical guides, temporary restorations, occlusal splints and other dental devices. For metal structures, Cerolab uses selective laser sintering technology from Sisma and Trumpf and works with materials including Grade 5 titanium and cobalt-chromium. Its material portfolio also includes different grades and multilayer versions of zirconia, IPS e.max lithium disilicate, Rosetta and Aidite materials, VITA VITABLOCS, VITA Enamic, Shofu Block HC and certified dental printing resins from BEGO, SprintRay, Asiga and Detax. Cerolab's digital workflow is organized into several stages, including digital reception and scan verification, technical analysis, CAD design, CAM manufacturing or 3D printing, characterization and finishing, and final quality inspection. The company emphasizes dimensional accuracy, implant connection compatibility, occlusal control, aesthetic customization and traceability throughout the production process. In addition to its technical laboratory services, Cerolab provides specialized orthodontic services, including removable orthodontic appliances, retainers and therapeutic devices, as well as express delivery services for urgent cases subject to prior coordination. The laboratory currently serves professionals and clinics in Chile and has international presence in Ecuador and the United States, giving it experience in handling both local and cross-border dental laboratory workflows. Overall, Cerolab positions itself as a technology-oriented dental laboratory that combines traditional technical expertise with digital CAD/CAM, 3D printing, laser metal sintering and advanced implant-prosthetic manufacturing to provide customized, precise and clinically oriented solutions for dental professionals.
