Damus Lab is a dental laboratory based in Santiago, Chile, specializing in modern digital dentistry and laboratory services for dental clinics and dental professionals. The laboratory is part of Damus, a Chilean company focused on dental supplies and solutions, and aims to help clinics transition toward efficient, technology-driven digital workflows. Damus Lab combines experienced dental laboratory professionals with digital design, CAD/CAM technologies, 3D printing and advanced dental manufacturing processes to provide customized solutions for orthodontics and oral rehabilitation. The laboratory is led by Danitza Torres, a dental laboratory technician trained in Santiago with extensive professional experience in removable prosthetics and lingual orthodontics, as well as several years of experience in digital orthodontics, dental design software, STL file processing and 3D printing technologies. The rehabilitation area is supported by Julissa Vera, a specialist with extensive experience in oral rehabilitation and digital dentistry, including Exocad design and milling using Roland, Arum and Cerec systems. Damus Lab provides digital model scanning using a Shining 3D Autoscan-DS-EX Pro scanner and supports STL, PLY and OBJ output formats, enabling dental clinics to digitize physical models and integrate them into digital workflows. The laboratory also provides digital orthodontic services, including the production of invisible aligners based on treatment plans prepared by dental professionals, 3D-printed models, thermoforming, trimming, polishing, packaging and delivery. Its removable retainer services can be produced from STL files or, when digital files are unavailable, from plaster or silicone impressions. In oral rehabilitation, Damus Lab offers digital smile design and treatment planning through Exocad, together with 3D printing and CAD/CAM manufacturing. The laboratory can design and manufacture dental restorations such as inlays, crowns, zirconia restorations, lithium disilicate restorations, copings and bridges, including both single crowns and implant-supported restorations. Its digital workflow covers scanning, digital design, approval, milling, finishing and delivery, allowing dentists to outsource important laboratory procedures while maintaining a digital and efficient treatment process. The laboratory also uses photopolymerizable UV 405 nm resins and modern 3D printing equipment, including Anycubic Photon Mono 6K and Photon Ultra DLP printers, as well as pressure thermoforming equipment for orthodontic appliances. Through this combination of experienced technicians, digital dentistry software, CAD/CAM manufacturing, 3D printing and customized laboratory services, Damus Lab positions itself as a technology-oriented dental laboratory partner for clinics seeking greater efficiency, precision, aesthetics and integration of digital dentistry into their clinical workflows.
